What is it?

Being able to change assignments well eg. from playing to learning and being able to adapt to new rules

How does it show?

E.g. being able to understand the view of your brother or sister

E.g. trying something new if something doesn't work out

E.g. being able to switch from one task to another. 

E.g. switching from playing to making homework

What can we do to stimulate?

  • Setting an alarm: if it beeps: stop playing and start your homework

  • Use step-by-step plans
    e.g. calculation diagrams
    Magic glasses:

Every one of the class crafts a pair of ‘magic glasses’. When you put on the glasses of your classmate: you imagine you see the world through the eyes of your classmate!

 

Exercise: tell your teacher or your classmates how the world looks through the glasses of someone else.
