Imagine If
Imagine If Partnership Ltd is a not for profit organisation that works to support young people to develop their social and emotional capability to be able to better function in education and future employment. We have worked with young people from the age 9 to 25 in in schools, local authorities, universities, businesses including Tottenham Hotspur, University of Exeter, Nandos and Devon and Hertfordshire offering experiential learning and focused coaching. We have designed and developed Assets for Success, a framework that helps people identify and develop critical behaviors to support their emotional growth and development. These are measured on our unique 4G framework giving all participants a sense of development, direction and achievement. These processes are supported by a range of accessible materials and development activities that are directly delivered or offered through a local coach/mentor network. This programme is a response to regularly reported behaviour and absenteeism problems in schools and skills gap in employment Working in schools at an earlier age enables pupils to develop capacity not only to improve their learning but be better prepared for future work. Imagine if has also developed a well-being programme entitled I Belong. This programme was designed to support teachers/school staff to better understand and respond to some mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, bullying. The programme was delivered nationally and supported people in everyday contact with people experiencing mental health issues to feel more confident and able to respond, notably teachers and support staff in schools. We have also written and delivered a national Supervision programme and published on young people and their support needs.
